After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Belen, Santa Fe was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes, sneaking past 8-7. The Demons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Elks/Elkettes, too.
Austin Tokoroyoma was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Gallegos, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
