Volleyball Game Preview: Ridgeline Riverhawks vs. Weber Warriors

The Ridgeline Riverhawks will challenge the Weber Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ridgeline is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home last Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Farmington.

Ridgeline walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Weber had already won five in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past the Falcons 3-0.

While Weber won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-22.

Weber's win came from a few key players Ridgeline will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tesyn Stewart, who had nine digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Scarlett Smith, who had eight digs and two aces.

Ridgeline beat Weber 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Do the Riverhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
