Baseball Game Preview: Latta Vikings vs. Mount View Golden Knights

Meanwhile, Mount View fell victim to Green Sea Floyds and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Golden Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mount View's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Latta, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Thursday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Latta has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .461. However, it's not like Mount View struggles in that department as they've averaged .494. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
