Soccer Game Preview: South-Doyle vs. Fulton

The South-Doyle Cherokees will head out on the road to take on the Fulton Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. South-Doyle is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

South-Doyle's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Hume-Fogg with a sharp 4-0 win. South-Doyle might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Hume-Fogg with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Roger Oseguera Cruz (2), Finneas Straussfogel, and Jude Straussfogel.

Meanwhile, Fulton hasn't lost a match since March 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They beat Crockett County by a goal, winning 4-3. The high-scoring effort was just what Fulton needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Fulton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those 15 contests. As for South-Doyle, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1-3.

Everything went South-Doyle's way against Fulton in their previous meeting back in March, as South-Doyle made off with a 5-0 victory. Will the Cherokees repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
