Baseball Recap: Franklin Wildcats vs. Oak Ridge Trojans
Franklin won the last time they faced Oak Ridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Franklin Wildcats walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Oak Ridge Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.
Franklin got a great performance from Dylan Wood as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk).
On the hitting side, Brandon Williams was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Franklin hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Ridge struck out 12 times.
