Basketball Game Preview: West Rusk Raiders vs. Tatum Eagles

West Rusk is 0-10 against Tatum since February of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Raiders will square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. West Rusk has given up an average of 53.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, West Rusk was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-54 to Troup.

Meanwhile, Tatum made easy work of Gladewater on Tuesday and carried off an 84-63 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

West Rusk's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Tatum, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Things could have been worse for West Rusk, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 89-72 loss to Tatum in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
