Baseball Recap: Christian Family Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Family Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against The Master's Academy Lions, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Friday.

Christian Family Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brantley Davis, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Christian Family Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for The Master's Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Christian Family Academy will challenge rival Community Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, The Master's Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Lake Lure Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
