Soccer Recap: Vail Mountain Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Vail Mountain was not quite Summit's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Vail Mountain of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Vail Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Summit, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vail Mountain will challenge Coal Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit, they will face off against Eagle Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
