After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northeastern Clinton, Lake Placid was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Boquet Valley Griffins, sneaking past 9-8. This was a revenge game for the Bombers: when they faced off against the Griffins back in April, they had to take a 10-5 loss.

Lake Placid's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Boquet Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Lake Placid will challenge Chazy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bombers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 10.6 runs per game this season. As for Boquet Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Crown Point at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Griffins surely won't give up without a fight.
