Volleyball Recap: Millry Victorious

Millry saw some tournament action on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Mary G. Montgomery Vikings 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Their offense was headlined by Breanna Stokley and Shakira Holcombe, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Sawyar Brown and her 17 assists.

Millry's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Mary G. Montgomery, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Millry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Sweet Water on the 15th. As for Mary G. Montgomery, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Davidson on the 13th.
