Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain Crest). Everything went their way against the Green Canyon Wolves on Friday as they made off with a 61-41 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Mountain Crest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Easton Pugmire, who went 5-for-10 en route to 13 points and six rebounds. Pugmire is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Branz, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 19 points.

Mountain Crest was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They are 4-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

Mountain Crest now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Green Canyon, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Mountain Crest and Green Canyon will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Mustangs see the court they'll take on Preston at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Green Canyon, their break will end when they face Bonneville at 2:00 p.m. on the 30th.
