After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Masconomet Regional, Chelmsford was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Central Catholic Raiders 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in September.

Chelmsford was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-106), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 19-25, 15-13.

Tiffany Vu had an outrageously good game as she had 15 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Dowd, who had ten digs.

Chelmsford was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 39 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
