Softball Recap: Fillmore Central/Lanesboro Takes a Loss

Fillmore Central/Lanesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Southland Rebels, falling 16-1. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Fillmore Central/Lanesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Southland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Fillmore Central/Lanesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southland has already played their next game (against Lewiston-Altura), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
