Marion Center's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They didn't even let the Portage Mustangs on the board, marking Marion Center's second-straight 15-0 shutout. Fans of the Stingers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Marion Center's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Portage, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion Center will welcome Conemaugh Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Portage, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against West Branch at 4:30 p.m.
