Clear Fork got themselves on the board against Pleasant on Thursday, but Pleasant never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp  19-0 victory. With that  win, the Colts brought their scoring average up to 7.3  runs per game.
 Presley Lilly looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Melodie Blubaugh was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hailly Thrush, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Clear Fork was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .469. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasant only posted a  batting average of  .167.
The  victory made it two in a row for Clear Fork and  bumps their season record up to 7-3. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3  runs in those games. As for Pleasant, their defeat was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-7.
 Clear Fork wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  an  8-1  loss against Anthony Wayne on the 18th. As for Pleasant, they have also already played their next contest,  a  15-1  defeat against Cardington-Lincoln on the 21st.
