Softball Recap: East Chapel Hill Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Chapel Hill can now relate to. They lost 11-5 to the Apex Cougars on Friday.

Lauren Steiner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another player making a difference was Kay Silver, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

East Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Apex, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

East Chapel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Apex, they will take on Garner at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
