Basketball Game Preview: Paramount Pirates vs. Bellflower Buccaneers

The Paramount Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Bellflower Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Paramount has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Paramount is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Fremont, posting an 84-50 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their 12-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Bellflower entered their tilt with North on Monday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They skirted past the Saxons 45-42.

Bellflower is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Paramount, their victory bumped their record up to 4-19.

Paramount was dealt a bruising 95-47 loss at the hands of Bellflower in their previous matchup on January 3rd. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Paramount was down 52-24.
