Hanna (Anderson, S.C.) was defeated by
Greenwood (S.C.), 21-10.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
CJ Jackson in the second quarter, the Eagles were up 14-7 at the half.
Greenwood expanded its lead to 11 points entering the fourth quarter. GHS's lone score in the quarter came on a rushing touchdown.
Hanna's lone touchdown came on a run in the first quarter.
The Eagles entered the contest giving up 19.4 points per game this year.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 34-3 win for Greenwood.
With the win GHS extended its winning streak to three games. The loss was the third in a row for the Yellowjackets.
In a AAAA Region I game next week Hanna (2-6) takes on Hillcrest, and Greenwood (5-3) will go up against Easley also in a AAAA Region I game.
