After losing to Portage the last time they met, Cambria Heights decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Highlanders won by a run and slipped past the Mustangs 4-3.

Cambria Heights saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Lewis, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Anthony Swander was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Cambria Heights is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Portage, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambria Heights will welcome West Shamokin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Portage, they will host Glendale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
