Temple Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Gilead Christian Eagles 53-25 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Gilead Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaeden Bossard, who posted 15 points along with seven boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Keller, who put up ten points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Gilead Christian's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
