Recap: Wallace Wildcats vs. Blue Hill Bobcats
The Wallace Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 39-25 bruising from Blue Hill. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wallace has scored all season.
Wallace's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matt Lungrin, who scored 17 points. Lungrin scored a full 68% of Wallace's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Masen Messersmith, who scored six points.
Wallace's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Blue Hill, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Wallace will be playing in front of their home fans against Arthur County on Friday. Arthur County is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Blue Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Silver Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
