Volleyball Recap: Highland Springs Comes Up Short

Highland Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mechanicsville Mustangs. If the Springers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Highland Springs' record is now 2-13. As for Mechanicsville, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Highland Springs is set to challenge their familiar foe Varina at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mechanicsville will take on rival Atlee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
