Basketball Recap: Cole Continues Home Dominance on Friday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cornerstone Christian, Cole was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 48-43 win over the Randolph Ro-Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cole's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avaya Brundidge, who went 9 for 12 en route to 21 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Brundidge a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Aniya Tillman, who posted 12 points and five steals.

Cole pushed their record up to 18-14 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Randolph, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.

Cole has already played their next matchup (against Great Hearts Northern Oaks), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Randolph will face off against Long Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
