Basketball Recap: Boulder Creek Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Boulder Creek took on Millennium on Tuesday. The Boulder Creek Jaguars were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to the Millennium Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrew Bhesania, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards. The match was Bhesania's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeehzus Pagan, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 12 points and six assists.

Boulder Creek's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Millennium, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Boulder Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-39 win against Shadow Ridge on the 10th. Millennium has also already played their next contest, a 73-53 victory against Desert Vista on the 9th.
