Softball Recap: Fannin County Rebels vs. Brantley County Herons
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fannin County can now relate to. They came up short against the Brantley County Herons on Saturday, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Rebels have lost by exactly ten runs.
Myla Rogers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-3 with a stolen base and a double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.
This is the second loss in a row for Fannin County and nudges their season record down to 16-7. As for Brantley County, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
