Baseball Recap: Saint Jo Comes Up Short

Saint Jo lost against Bryson on April 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 10-4 to the Cowboys. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charlie Evans was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Devin Stewart was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Saint Jo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Bryson, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Jo will welcome Bellevue at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.69 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bryson, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Perrin-Whitt at 5:00 p.m. The Pirates will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
