Softball Recap: Climax-Scotts Comes Up Short

Climax-Scotts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Burr Oak Bobcats, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Climax-Scotts' loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Burr Oak, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Climax-Scotts will venture away from home to take on Hackett Catholic Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burr Oak, they will take on Plainwell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
