Volleyball Recap: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Murray Spartans

After flying high against Tooele on Tuesday, Jordan came back down to earth. The Beetdiggers came up short against the Murray Spartans on Thursday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Beetdiggers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-14.

Thys Oppermann paced Jordan's offense, picking up nine kills. Oppermann got some help from Shaun White and his 15 assists.

Murray was led to victory by Jim Jensen and Alex Beckstead. Jensen had seven digs and one assist, while Beckstead had 13 kills, five digs, and three aces. That's the most kills Beckstead has posted since back in March.
