Basketball Recap: Colony Comes Up Short

Colony saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 67-59 to the Northwood Timberwolves.

When it comes to explaining why Colony lost, don't look at Fende Thomas. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Desmond Flanagan, who put up eight points and six rebounds.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Northwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Colony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-54 loss against Los Osos on the 30th. As for Northwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-69 defeat against Orange Vista on the 30th.
