Volleyball Recap: Moorhead Comes Up Short

Moorhead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshall Tigers. If the Spuds were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Moorhead's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Marshall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

Moorhead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Caledonia on the 11th. As for Marshall, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Eagan on the 11th.
