Softball Preview: Redwood Rangers vs. El Diamante Miners
The Redwood Rangers will take on the El Diamante Miners at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Redwood will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Redwood's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Golden West. Considering the Rangers have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
The result came thanks to Jackie Ramirez's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 13 Ks.
At the plate, Rayah Rodriguez was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Jaden Lopez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
