Softball Recap: Baldwin Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Baldwin dropped their record down to 15-6 on Monday, which also ended the team's nine-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Creekside Knights by a score of 3-1. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Baldwin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall North, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

As for Creekside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly two runs.

On Creekside's side, Carly Dall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits. Dall has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baldwin will welcome Middleburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.65 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
