Soccer Game Preview: San Juan vs. Highlands

The San Juan Spartans are taking a road trip to square off against the Highlands Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

San Juan's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Vacaville Christian.

Meanwhile, Highlands entered their tilt with Woodland Christian back in December of 2024 with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 5-0 victory. The Scots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by four goals or more this season.

Highlands has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five contests. As for San Juan, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4-1.
