Volleyball Recap: King Philip Regional Takes a Loss

King Philip Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Millis Mohawks. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mohawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

King Philip Regional was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-20.

Teddy Dolan paced King Philip Regional's offense, picking up six kills. Dolan got some help from Charlie Moon and his 12 assists.

King Philip Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Millis, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

King Philip Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional on the 10th. As for Millis, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Bellingham on the 12th.
