Baseball Recap: Troy Trojans vs. Shamokin Area Indians
Troy posted their closest victory since May 17, 2025 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Shamokin Area Indians, sneaking past 13-11. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered an 8-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Vinnie Colton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Colton was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
