Softball Recap: Wilton-Lyndeborough Comes Up Short

Wilton-Lyndeborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Epping Blue Devils, falling 21-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Wilton-Lyndeborough's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Epping, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilton-Lyndeborough will take on rival Newmarket at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Epping is set to challenge their familiar foe Farmington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
