Mission Oak had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 31-0 win over the Sanger West Hornets. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Hornets are ranked 774th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
