The Ritchie County Rebels will face off against the Robert C. Byrd Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Ritchie County will be strutting in after a victory while Robert C. Byrd will be coming in after a defeat.
Ritchie County is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let St. Marys get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rebels with their most commanding win of the season.

Brayson Hayes made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Ritchie County got a big performance out of Rhett Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Johnson has posted over his last 15 matches. Another player making a difference was Turner Shriver, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Ritchie County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Marys only posted an OBP of .278.
Meanwhile, Robert C. Byrd faced Morgantown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Mohigans, falling 11-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.
Robert C. Byrd saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Floyd, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
The victory made it two in a row for Ritchie County and bumps their season record up to 6-18-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Robert C. Byrd, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
