Basketball Game Preview: Frontier Cougars vs. Caldwell Redskins

Frontier is 2-8 against Caldwell since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Frontier Cougars will welcome the Caldwell Redskins at 7:00 p.m. Frontier is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Frontier will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating River, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Frontier came out on top against River by a score of 52-42 on Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Caldwell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 69-57 victory over Eastern on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Redskins considering their 22-point performance the game before.

With the win, Caldwell broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-3. As for Frontier, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Frontier was dealt a bruising 68-39 loss at the hands of Caldwell in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Caldwell's Carter Wheeldin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards.
