Everything went their way against Maroa-Forsyth as Argenta-Oreana made off with  an  11-1 victory. Argenta-Oreana's win was all the more impressive since Maroa-Forsyth was averaging only 3.83 runs allowed on the season.
  Abby Jackson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out ten batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits. Jackson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Jackson was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kharma Giles, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Gracie Manning was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought  game, but Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] had to settle for  an  8-7 defeat against Cerro Gordo/Bement on Saturday. Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Argenta-Oreana's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland], their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
