Soccer Recap: King Takes a Loss

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Gregory-Portland Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 442nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 100th).

King's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Gregory-Portland, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Corpus Christi Moody the next time they take the pitch. Gregory-Portland will host Corpus Christi Moody at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while King will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on February 18th.
