Volleyball Recap: Fleming County Victorious

Fleming County posted their closest win since March 27, 2024 on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Walton-Verona Bearcats, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Fleming County's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-7. As for Walton-Verona, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fleming County will venture away from home to challenge East Jessamine at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walton-Verona, they will take on Shelby County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bearcats are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
