Basketball Recap: Garden City Comes Up Short

Garden City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 38-14 to the Allen Park Jaguars. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 55-43 to them when the teams met back in December of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Garden City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Allen Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

We've got a battle between Cougars coming up. As for Allen Park, they will host Trenton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Allen Park's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Trenton has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road.
