Basketball Recap: Mt. Diablo Comes Up Short

Mt. Diablo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Acalanes Dons and fell 75-29. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.

Despite the loss, Mt. Diablo still got an impressive performance from Eric Warrick, who posted 13 points. That was a full 44.8% of Mt. Diablo's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Mt. Diablo's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Acalanes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Mt. Diablo will face off against Miramonte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Acalanes, they will challenge Clayton Valley Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
