Basketball Recap: First Coast Christian Takes a Loss

First Coast Christian was the 59-50 winner over West Nassau when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The First Coast Christian Knights fell 61-51 to the West Nassau Warriors on Friday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, First Coast Christian still got an impressive performance from Skylar Hudson, who posted 25 points. That was a full 49% of First Coast Christian's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Faith Whidden was another key player, putting up nine points.

First Coast Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for West Nassau, their victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-15.

First Coast Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-29 defeat against St. Johns Country Day on the 4th. As for West Nassau, they have also already played their next game, an 81-2 loss against Andrew Jackson on the 4th.
