Volleyball Recap: Skyline Has No Trouble Against Highland

Skyline's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Highland Rams. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won four in a row.

Skyline never let Highland on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 29-27.

Lincoln Arnold paced Skyline's offense, picking up eight kills. Arnold got some help from Tag Begley and his 14 assists. Begley was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Highland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Skyline and Highland will both be playing Olympus the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
