Softball Recap: Southern Lehigh Takes a Loss

Southern Lehigh suffered their biggest loss since May 6, 2024 on Monday. They lost 15-3 to the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Spartans' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Lily Kelly made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Southern Lehigh's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Southern Lehigh will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Wilson Area at 6:30 p.m. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, they will head out on the road to challenge Catasauqua at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
