Volleyball Recap: Hermann Comes Up Short

Hermann lost against Pacific back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bearcats fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Hermann took Pacific into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-18, 25-14, 14-25, 15-12.

Jillian Fredrick paced Hermann's offense, picking up 12 kills. Fredrick got some help from Brynlee Ash and her ten assists. Kealie Lane and Kalli Landolt kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Hermann's loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Pacific, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4-1.

Hermann wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against New Haven on the 23rd. As for Pacific, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Union on the 23rd.
