Basketball Recap: Concord Spiders vs. Central Cabarrus Vikings
Concord lost against Central Cabarrus back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Concord Spiders fell 47-34 to the Central Cabarrus Vikings. The Spiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Concord still got an impressive performance from Natalie Nebrick, who posted five points along with nine boards and eight blocks. Nebrick is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last ten games she's played.
Myajah Nix gave her former team something to remember she by as she dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds for Central Cabarrus. Nix has become a key player for Central Cabarrus: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least ten boards, but 3-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniyah Burton, who had five points in addition to 16 rebounds and four steals.
Concord's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Central Cabarrus, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Concord didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-51 defeat against East Rowan on the 17th. Central Cabarrus has also already played their next game, a 28-21 loss against Northwest Cabarrus on the 17th.
