Basketball Recap: Bastrop's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Bastrop entered their match against Wossman on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bastrop Rams took a 72-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wossman Wildcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Rams still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Bastrop still got an impressive performance from Antron Mason II, who posted 24 points along with six boards and four steals. The game was Mason II's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lebron Deal, who earned 15 points.

Bastrop's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Wossman, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Bastrop will be taking part in a tournament against Delhi at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wossman, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Liberty Magnet at 7:30 p.m.
